Yay- incision is healing up well and learned how to walk on one crutch!  It’s tiring though and I have to elevate and ice it afterwards.  See the doc Monday- I think he’ll take out a heel wedge and hopefully allow me to start PT!

I can’t wait to walk too!! This is the most frustrating injury. Hope your recovery is fast!!

Hi Emily, How’s it going? I had an extra compression sock that a Dr. friend of mine gave me and I put that on under my boot. It makes the whole ensemble feel much more comfortable and has really helped with my swelling. My feet were always getting puffy at the end of every day and they stopped. I just started my PWB a few days ago along with light PT (rotation my ankle and isometrics). Although I am feeling timid, I am motivated by my desire to get out of this house! Enjoy this lovely weather! Catherine
