That’s a nice one. Looks like a great conversation starter. I just read your first blog post and am offering a late welcome. You ruptured a couple days before me. Hope that your recovery is going well. Is this an iphone pic? lol Hope you had insurance. ouch.

Thanks Kelly. My wife took the photo with her iPhone. My surgeon actually took about 10 photos during surgery (he said he never does this, but since my injury was a bit unique he did take some to use in training). In his words it was one of the most challenging he has seen. My wife took a photo’s of his photos, I would post but they are a bit graphic. At least he was happy enough with his work to share with me his masterpiece step by step:). My injury was actually the same day as Kobe Bryant, but his surgery was 13 days before mine and I think his healthcare plan might be a bit better.
Best of luck to you.

Lol–I’m good with the zipped up photo, thanks, and lol re: Kobe’s health plan. I’m sure his quality of care might be a little better than my HMO too
dj22 has completed the grueling 26.2 ATR miles to full recovery! Goal: 365 days from the surgery date.
