My broken Achilles MRI…

I couldnt resist I had to see the damage. This is a complete rupture as they call it ..cause its completely snapped. Who knew playing softball was so brutal?
Heel bone..Not connected to the leg bone!

Thanks for sharing the MRI photo. First one of these I’ve seen-quite a clear picture of your torn tendon. Great to hear about your Dr. giving you a call to check on your recovery–I would say that is very rare and good to hear! All the best for a full recovery!

Thanks Bode, yeah I was sort of delightfully surprised at how clear the MRI was..and was hoping it would be because I had to lay half way in that damn machine for 2 hours! I guess I have a good doc too..never had an Ortho doc before so my first time on this side of the hospital.
