“Achilles Tendon Rupture Recovery Blog”

Achilles Tendon number one

I was curious about our Google search rankings, and I typed in: “achilles tendon rupture recovery blog”
And guess what? We are ranked #1.

Other permutations of the subsets of those words do get us in the top 3 Google pages, but I am happy to say that when the key words “recovery” and “blog” are thrown in, we have the top ranking!

What does this mean? It just means that people who are looking for fellow ATR recovery folks will easily find us. And that’s a good thing.

Hope all your recovery is going well, and feel free to shout if you have any comments or suggestions.

This is great! Many thanks, once again, for putting this all in motion.

Congrats, dennis. This is by far the most comprehensive site out there…and the most user friendly. Let’s just say I’ve had a little unexpected time on my hands lately so I’ve been on-line a little more than usual and I can’t find half the information that this site provides.

Needless to say, a huge thank you.

PS. Just wish there had been a blog like this about preventing ATR and I had been an active member of that one. ;)

Yeah—this site is a godsend. People ask me how my leg is doing and I find myself starting my sentences with, “my blog friends say…” It’s been terrific! Thanks, Dennis!

Congrats Dennis. At my next post-op, I plan to mention this site to my surgeon as a resource for his patients to gain a support network!

    Hey Dennis,
That’s awesome! I too keep saying over and over to my family and friends “Well I read on this great blog site that . . . “, and “This blog site I am on is making me feel so much better . . .” Thanks so much for providing this outlet - this feels like my life-line to the world. I’m sure my friends and family can only stand so much talk time about my foot!

Dennis-congrats on the great job with the site! I couldn’t find your email to email you directly vs. post. I noticed that my posts have been deleted in the achilles blogg-updated post section. I’ll stop blogging until I’m back on track with others. Out of everyone that is going through this, I’m the only one with the out of control things going on. I guess it can scare some folks, so that’s why you removed it. I’ll not blog until i can join you normal folks. Thanks again for all of your help on the site and for your words on encouragement. Take care. Hopefully won’t be long before I can blog with a great success story! Thanks again!

Kristin - I believe the “achilles blog - updated posts” section only shows the most recent post of everyone’s blog. People can still read through your previous posts on your site. Please don’t stop bloggin’ your experience, unless you are getting worn out from sharing. I think it is very important that this site shows the possible negatives of this injury as well as the positives. I’m just so sorry that you are the first one on the site that has had such a rough experience. I guess if you look at the percentages, we were due. My apologizes again to you for having to deal with all the complications. Hopefully there is an end in sight and you can get back to focusing on the AT. Keep fighting for yourself and don’t be afraid to listen to your instincts.

    Kristin -
Hi, I just checked AchillesBlog and read your comment, and I think there is a bit of misunderstanding. I didn’t remove your comments.. shows only the comments that were made on my personal AchillesBlog page. ( It says: “Recent Comments”

On the other hand, shows all the recent comments made on the entire site. It says: “Site-wide Recent Comments”

I do hope that you continue posting and keeping us in the loop on your recovery. This site came together for the ATR “recoverers” to help each other, and I certainly and definitely think of you as part of our team. (I am sure everyone else agrees too!)

I hope to hear from you again.. and I hope you are able to clear up the misunderstanding. I’ve also sent you an e-mail, and looking forward to your reply. :)

    Kristin -

Looks like I skimmed your comment a little too quickly, and I thought you were referring to the comments.. I didn’t remove your post either, as it would certainly be a very inappropriate thing for me to do.. Please check: to verify.

I think what Tom said was spot on.

I am certain that you’ll get over this hump, and I hope that you keep us in the loop throughout the process as we are all pulling for you. We all would like to see you get better and celebrate all of our recoveries together.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Hello guys! Dennis and I just spoke on the phone…not only does he maintain a website but he maintains a customer service helpline for confused bloggers. We are paying him lots of money for his 24×7 always on customer service. Dennis cleared it up. Tom…yep you are right…your most current post shows in the list. I’m just not with it right now and I’m like…hey…where’s my post from the other day…but, it all makes sense now. Again, are getting paid the big bucks to get these questions from your bloggers…the nerve! Sorry again. Thanks for clearing it up and you all are the best, most supportive folks. I will get better…glass is half full. Gotta get more positive. Thanks guys!

Congralutions on the success of your site. It is an excellent to check on your progress while I am so far away (Paraguay). I am really proud of your recovery thus far and how far this site had come along… keep up the good work.

Had surgery about 3 weeks ago and noticed that I still have a pretty sizeable indentation on my surgically repaired tendon. I’m in the aircast and I haven’t fallen or reinjured it as far as i know. But i’m getting nervous because of the indentation….Anyone think I might have reruptured it without knowing.

  • 16 AHSEC Admit Card 2021 // Feb 13, 2021 at 4:06 am

Assam Board will release the Assam HS admit card for the Class 12 students in January 2021. The students will be required to collect the admit card from their school. Check for any discrepancy and get 2-3 photocopies of it. Students must note that it is important that students carry the AHSEC admit card 2021 on all exam days as otherwise they will not be allowed to write it. The admit card mentions the student’s name, roll number, date-of-birth, along with the exam date, timings, and other exam instructions.
