Had surgery yesterday, 8 days after injury. The surgeon said the tear was complete and higher than he expected, but should not hamper my recovery. Surgery took about an hour and a half. He put a plaster splint on (heavy)and it will stay on for 2 weeks then he will put me in a boot after that. I have a trip planned to Vegas in 10 days, he thinks I can go as long as someone will push me around in a wheelchair.
