Another milestone - a STAND UP SHOWER!!

Tonight I was able to take a shower - standing up - without my boot!!! Felt SO GOOD!!!!!! Also found a video on youtube for people that can only do sit down exercises. FELT so good to do SOMETHING for me!!!! Gotta get ready for Florida!!! Good day today!!!

Congratulations, Crzkdsmom! I know I was very conservative and used the shower stool until a week after being in two shoes. But showeing sitting down just isn’t the same… and I would have to turn in the stool to get my feet clean… not easy for a guy my size! LOL
Showering on foot is one of the great things of going Full Weight Bearing.

I’m still on PWB but I held onto the shower door and doctor had said I could so I did it!!!
Today I am a little sore but still glad I did it! A day taking it easy is on my schedule for today. I can tell when I need to slow down and I have gone without my crutch a few times and haven’t done too bad. When it hurts I use the crutch; when it doesn’t I don’t . I figure it’s my body telling me to stop. And of course heading to Florida next week will help!!! Sunny weather, having mom take care of me and getting out of the house should REALLY perk me up!!!
