ATR - Achilles Tendon Rupture

CAM Boot/Walker - A boot like device used to "Control Ankle Motion".  Specifically to immobilize or limit the range of motion during the healing process.

Dorsi flexion - Movement that points the toes of your foot up towards your shin (the opposite of plantar flexion)

FWB - Full Weight Bearing

NWB - Non Weight Bearing

Plantar flexion - Movement that points the toes of your foot down like a ballerina or the direction to push the gas pedal in a car (the opposite of dorsi flexion)

PWB - Partial Weight Bearing

RoM - Range of Motion
