two shoes

Posted by cgdh13 on December 22, 2012

Yeah. Saw the Dr yesterday and he said I could drive and put on a winter boot. It had been a long five weeks sine I had last seen him. I Havana gained 25 degrees of dorsiflexion during pt. Now I am cleared for full weight bearing pt. I drove today and it felt great. I am a little nervous walking in just a regular boot there is a little snow outside and I walked very slowly. I was liberated from my crutches two weeks ago.

I’m sure it a great feel just remember to stay careful and don’t do too much. My do for has advised me to ween out of the boot slowly or use my crutches at first. As you know I can’t start until the week of January 3rd. Anyway, let me know how it goes for you and take care.
