I had a tear and diseased bone that adhered to the torn tendon. Dr cut the tendon, removed the bad bone and reattached tendon. The pain isn't too bad. I wish you well on your road to recovery. I'm 9 weeks since surgery now. 5 weeks in a cast Walking with a boot for the past month. Starting physical therapy tomorrow and hoping to be back to work in 2 weeks. And never want to go through this again---any words of wisdom--and was the reinjury do to the ER doing the first surgery?
