At 21 weeks to the day, I was able to do a single leg calf raises. It was five days later than my PT had predicted. It’s been a huge mental gain for me as I didn’t think it would ever happen. All the other milestones just came naturally without much thought: I just stopped using crutches one day, the boot didn’t seem necessary one morning and running just kinda happened. But the mental block I was having with the single calf raise was ridiculous.
I admit my tongue was hanging out and I had to swing my arms to get the momentum. I’m sure I looked like an idiot. It’s more of a quick hop than a controlled lift, but my heal is off the ground and it feels good.

Way to go, and yay for the non-op “club”! Keep pushing but don’t overdo (even now)!
Thanks again to my cheering section, Norm and Kevin.
Kevin, the ups and downs still continue for me as well. Last week I thought for sure I’d be running 5km by 24 weeks - it was such a good week. This week I haven’t been able to run at all. It really isn’t a normal “conditioning progression” that I’m used to. In my mind running 2.5km one week means 3km the following week. Nope.
Thanks you so much Kevin for share their Yoga and leg calf raise experience with the site visitor. That’s all points are appreciable because you’ve discussed it well. It’s was really such an amazing week to check resume review service where you can meet qualified writers.
Sith or Jedi? test quiz
Now, don’t get me wrong, I am an equal opportunity trainer.
I’ve taken on Jedi and Sith as well.
But, I only engage in brawls when they agree to it.
Other wise it’s usually one - on - one with me.
I don’t have to have a cage to train my animals, I just train them how I want.

That’s awesome BB. 21 weeks is great progress and from what I hear to do a single-leg calf raise, many can’t do one at this point, me being one of them.
Especially since I have to take a few more days off from my therapy and exercise because of this inflammation. Keep us all posted and happy healing BB.
