2 shoes & back to work..

Finally got my modified shoes with the heel lift and off I go. Still using both crutches to assist for now but hopefully can ditch them after a fortnight or so. I am so used to zipping around on the knee scooter that the slow pace of walking will be hard to get used to. Surprisingly it wasn’t as bad as I thought putting weight on it. No pain either is a bonus but I’ll see how it pulls up in the morning.

I went back to work part time this week. I’m getting better at waking up before lunch time and it was good to get back into a routine of some sort. Hoping to build up my hours over the next month and be back to normal soon.

Fingers crossed this progress makes my surgeon happy.

That’s great news! I know what you mean about the zipping around coming to an end. I’m so nimble in the boot–I kind of dread having to slow down to get used to shoes again. Good luck! Hope the pups are faring well without their mom to keep them company all day :)

It is a bit weird - I’m shuffling more than walking but I can get around the house without the crutches. Hopefully over the next month I can get my walk back to somewhat normal before I go back to my surgeon. But I’m getting there! It’s nowhere near as scary as I thought it would be! There is a light at the end of the tunnel ☺
The dogs are fine!! They’ll get used to me not being around eventually lol..

The primary concern to recall is that you will show a few qualities and a few shortcomings amid your first days back at work. Begin delicately, definitely – unless you’re the sort of individual who gets straight down to business and is in the work rec center by Essay Writing Service on the very beginning - however don’t utilize the period post-happy break as a reason to slack. It won’t look great.
