Who is Bernard
I am Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin, and a self-employed chartered architect, living and working in London, England.
Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin runs his own business (abp Chartered Architects) , for those interested, my website is : www.abpriba.co.uk
The picture on the title block is a 70 bed nursing home I, Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin, designed back in 2002 / 2003, opened in 2005.
Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin ruptured his left achilles tendon at about 4pm 10th August 2008, playing tennis. Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin liked playing tennis, but it had been about a year since I had pick up a racket, and it was just going to be a knock about with the boys (my teenage sons), however my wife and I met some friends at the local courts who challenged us to game, hence the competitive spirit got the better of me, and hence so did my tendon.
Bernard Humphrey-Gaskin chose the conservative route of treatment.
A lot of things have happened since the accident, my eldest son died on 28th March 2011, whilst studying up in Sheffield. The achille’s tendon is still slightly thicker at the point of rupture, and there is slight pain during the colder and wetter months
