I am 26 years old, and I ruptured my left Achilles tendon on March 8, 2012, while playing basketball. Surgery occurred with an orthopedic surgeon on March 19, 2012, in Pittsburgh 11 days after the injury. I aim to share my injury story, recovery, doctors’ visits, rehabilitation, Achilles facts, and other information about my experience to help others who’ve also ruptured or torn an Achilles.
Recovery Goal
