hey arib, I don’t have a air walker so I wouldn’t have any tips. Srry bud. However I do have some boot the doctor gave me. I am 3 weeks post op so were pretty much in the same boat together, lol and it sucks huh? You are 3 weeks ahead so that’ll be nice to follow your recover as well. Just wondering have you started you physical therapy yet? if so how far along are you?

My OS has me i guess on a diff plan. My was a full rupture. He had me in a cast(soft one) for 5 1/2 weeks. he just put me in a boot yesterday and im going back in 3 weeks ..it is non weight bearing so no walking in it…he said i should be non weight bearing for about 4 weeks ..so maybe in the next visit (3 weeks) he will be partial weight bearing…i have done zero PT ..he hasn’t had me do anything yet…dont know if he is just conservative or what…The damn boot is so heavy…and other than the fact that i can take the boot off periodically to let me foot breath it sucks…

You should and will probably be partial weight bearing early this week I bet. take it lightly and if it hurts than stop. I had a full rupture as well and already full weight bearing around the house with the boot on with no pain at all. Sounds like he may be a bit conservative but definitely playing it safe. You may want to start contacting a PT and asking them to get started.
