Hello all, as requested by Dennis pictures of my t-shirt. Went to first home match of the season (Manchester City FC) - don’t ask the score, a very sore point - managed to walk there and back, as you can see it isn’t very far from my sons flat, also pic inside stadium and outside.
Still took one crutch with me to negotiate the gravel car park, also walked up the circular turrets into the ground. All went very well, apart from the score.

I’m also an official blue (best mates oiginally an manc man city fan and he ‘bought me’ for £1 before the 2nd Div play-off final (’99 I think). I took him there for his Stag do, really nice ground.

We were at Wembley for that 2nd division play off- Dickov was my hero and Weaver’s dance at the end of the game will always live in the memory. How far we have come, but… after last night it won’t be long before we are back there. But whatever happens we will be there.

I love hearing that you are such a sports fan. Not always common among us women. I am a huge football fan…american football. First game is August 30th–15 days! I actually have a countdown in my cubicle at work. Don’t know if I’ll sport the ATR shirt to the game though, I might get attacked if I don’t have on my Oregon Duck colors. (green and yellow) I’m glad you made it up and around the stadium. That has been one of my concerns about attending one of my games here. Well done annie!
