When did you start running again?
July 28th, 2017
I’m just over 7 months post surgery and working out pretty regularly. I’ve tried light jogging on the treadmill but I have such pain in my heel that I’m wondering it’s too early? Do I just need to stretch more beforehand or should I delay jogging a bit longer?

I’ve started jogging at 15 weeks. Started with 0.2 miles on flat asphalt surface.
During first 4 weeks of FWB I had a heel pain as well in preparation for jogging what helped me was tapping my leg on the floor whenever I was standing.
When I was brushing teeth or doing something that required standing I would put most of the weight on the other leg and would do heel rise and then tap the heel on the floor.
I could tap the rhythm or simply do it rapidly many times until my calf or heel was tired.
I started jogging at 5 months. It’s going very slow for me but that’s because it takes a while to get the strength built back up in all the muscles.
Im 10 months post and still not running…..
