  1. Hi, this is a comment.

  2. Now you’re just teasing us! THIRD time?!? Same ankle, or “both sides now”, or what?!?

  3. Thankfully it’s just a torn Gastro. The feeling was the same as when I tore my AT (punched in the calf) Looks like I’ll be down and out for 1 - 2 months (much better than a torn AT). I tore my left AT in 2005 and my right AT in 2001 (both playing football).

This looks like a good sight. Good luck with your AT rehab. I was back on the basketball court after 7 months - full court after 8 months.

  4. Yup, 2nd time for me 3rd time. Left side, 1st time in 1999, this time right side, Aug 20, 2010; both playing racquetball. Since I know the drill, I don’t feel as bad as I did the first time. In fact, I’m walking without crutches after 7.1/2 weeks. Still stiff though, just glad to lose the crutches. Glad to hear that you just tor a Gastro. The Achilles grow back so thick, its hard to believe it can be snapped again. Sounds like you only have 2 months rest instead of 6 months rehab. Congratulations, Rich
